Brooklyn-bred Rapper/Music Producer KOVAS, who created his own record label and production company Art School Rebellion, has produced and remixed for some of the biggest names in music, including Justin Timberlake, De La Soul, Usher, and M.I.A to name a few. He was given his first break at 16 when he made his first appearance on the De La Soul song "Words and Verbs" in 2001. His music has appeared in countless video games, films and TV shows including Madden NFL 09, Saint's Row IV, Captain Phillips starring Tom Hanks, Comedy Central's Workaholics, The Mindy Project, and CoverGirl commericals. KOVAS has also scored the beginning of Taylor Swift's 2013 MTV VMA award winning music video "I Knew You Were Trouble".
